Emergency First Aid at Work (6 hours)

An HSE compliant course which teaches all learners how to deliver emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes unwell at work.

Topics covered

• Common workplace injuries
• Reporting of injuries and accident book
• The unconscious casualty
• Resuscitation (CPR)
• Bleeding and wound management
• Seizures
• Choking
• Shock

Suitable for: small businesses, community groups, self-employed

Assessment

In addition to the course, learners will be required to complete a multiple-choice exam at the end. On completion of the course, all learners will be given a nationally recognised Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, which is valid for 3 years.

Duration: 6 hours

Cost: £60 p/p (10% discount available for groups of 8 and above).
